Picture this A bustling Sunday morning. People stream into New Life Fellowship Church in Dallas. This isn’t just any church. It’s a place where a dream took root. Dr Maurice Pugh dreamt of a church like those in the New Testament. A place of genuine faith and fellowship. A place where people shared their faith helping others find Christ.

On December 21 2003 that dream became reality. Pastor Pugh and forty others held their first service. Not in a grand building but at an Arlington YMCA. New Life Fellowship was born. It was a humble beginning. It reflects the church’s focus on faith and community over grand architecture.

The church wasn’t always at its current location. It moved several times. In 2006 they purchased fourteen acres of land. The land is on the corner of Matlock and Sublett Roads. In 2007 the church officially changed its name to New Life Fellowship. They had a groundbreaking dedication for their new building in 2008. By 2009 they moved into the first building of their master-planned campus.

The growth of New Life Fellowship wasn’t just about buildings. It was about community. They added a third service in 2013 to accommodate their growing congregation. They held their first children’s Vacation Bible School in 2014. They celebrated their fifteenth anniversary in 2018. It shows how far they’ve come from that first service at the YMCA.

Today New Life Fellowship continues to grow. It remains a testament to Pastor Pugh’s vision. It’s a place where people find faith community and hope. A place where a small dream became a thriving church. That’s the story of New Life Fellowship Church. A living example of faith in action.
