Standing before you, in the heart of East Fort Worth, is the New Life Deaf Fellowship Church. This church is a special place, serving a unique community. Founded in 1994, it has grown into a vital part of the Deaf community in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

New Life Deaf Fellowship was born from the union of three Deaf ministries. Their founders, driven by a strong sense of fellowship and a desire to create a unified space for the Deaf community, joined their forces.

While they began their journey in Fort Worth, they later moved to their current location in East Fort Worth, near the intersection of I-820 and I-30. It was a significant step, bringing them to a new neighborhood, a new space, and a new chapter in their story.

The church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. The foundation of the New Life Deaf Fellowship aligns with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, a document that defines the theological beliefs of the Southern Baptist Convention.

While the church has a strong Christian base, it’s much more than just a place of worship. It’s a community center, a place for fellowship, and a source of support for the Deaf community. The building itself is a beautiful testament to their commitment to inclusivity, with visual aids and sign language interpreters present at every service.

The story of New Life Deaf Fellowship is a testament to the power of community, faith, and resilience. It’s a place where deaf individuals can find solace, connect with others who share their experiences, and build a sense of belonging.

As you stand here today, imagine the laughter and the warmth that fills this space every Sunday. Picture the joy of community, celebrated in sign language, a language that speaks volumes without words.

Every visit to New Life Deaf Fellowship Church is an opportunity to witness the power of faith and community, expressed in a unique and heartwarming way.
