Founded in 2005 New Beginnings in Christ Ministries stands tall in Chicago’s south side. Pastor Raymond E Cullar and Overseer Lillie Cullar established this vibrant ministry. It serves the Grand Crossing neighborhood. The church ministers volunteers and delivers essential services to its residents. Elder Carlton Young a former Chicago Public School teacher for 30 years joined the ministry after his retirement in 2018. Elder Donna R Cullar the youngest of three siblings also serves the church. She too grew up in Chicago. Elder Lillie Cullar born in Covington Louisiana is the faithful wife of Pastor Cullar. She is the sixth of eight siblings. New Beginnings in Christ Ministries isn’t just a building it’s a community. It’s a place where faith is fostered and lives are transformed. The church offers Bible studies every Tuesday and Thursday. These studies are held both at the church and online via Facebook Messenger Rooms. People of all ages are welcome. There’s an active youth ministry providing a biblical foundation for young people. New Beginnings in Christ Ministries emphasizes the power of prayer. The church welcomes prayer requests through email. They believe in the transformative power of prayer and have witnessed God’s hand at work. They strive to help people have a new beginning in Christ. This is regardless of their past.
