Founded not in a grand cathedral, but in the spirit of togetherness, the New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church started its journey on November 11, 1964. Reverend George W. Pryor, along with thirteen devoted individuals, came together with a shared vision – to create a space for spiritual growth and community. The church’s very foundation rests on the shoulders of these fourteen souls – the original charter members. Their names, forever etched in the church’s history, stand as a testament to the power of faith and unity. The New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church has always been more than just a place of worship.
