The pigeons entering the dovecot through 36 holes half way down the roof and 5 holes in the south wall of each chamber below the eaves. The dovecot has two chambers. This structure is a testament to the wealth of the owner at the time. The two chambers in the dovecot served as both security and meant that the birds were disturbed less, giving them more space.
