The Yayasan Wakaf Baitussalam was established in 1981. It was officially inaugurated in 1982. This foundation emerged after the mosque’s construction. Previously the Billymoon housing complex lacked facilities for worship. Residents requested a dedicated space from the developer. The developer generously donated approximately 1000 square meters of land.
Initially named Yayasan Wakaf Baitussalam. It was later renamed Yayasan Wakaf Baitussalam Billymoon. This change aligned with the legal regulations of 2001 concerning foundations. Similarly Masjid Baitussalam became Masjid Raya Baitussalam. This was in accordance with foundation laws. It is registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
The Mushola Baitus Salam actively engages with the community. It offers various services and facilities. The TPA provides foundational Al-Quran reading skills to children. This is especially beneficial for working parents. TPA activities take place every Monday afternoon. Cahyo Indarti and Murniningsih guide the santriwan and santriwati.
Baitussalam Ballroom is a versatile space. It measures 25×25 meters. It features an open terrace of 18×10 meters. It can accommodate up to 700 invitations or 1400 people. The ballroom boasts a gold ceiling and matching curtains. Its location in the Billy Moon residential area is advantageous. It has ample parking.
The mosque’s hall can host over 1200 guests. This is perfect for wedding receptions. TK Islam Baitussalam caters to children aged 3-5 years. It employs a unique “sentra” learning method. One such “sentra” focuses on early childhood worship education.
