“Look at the vibrant colours!” Right here in Lisbon, facing us, is the Mural by Utopia. It’s a feast for the eyes, bursting with Utopia’s signature style. You see, Utopia, originally from Brazil, isn’t just a Lisbon artist. He’s a global phenomenon. His work has graced walls from the Americas to Europe and even Asia. This mural, though, holds a special charm. Those colourful, rounded faces, especially those beautiful women, are classic Utopia. He started his artistic journey young, dabbling in graffiti at just 13. By 16, his talent was undeniable, even landing him teaching gigs for the Sao Paulo government. Imagine, a teenager teaching art! He eventually found his way to Lisbon, setting up a studio with other renowned artists. This Mural by Utopia, with its vibrant energy and intricate details, is a testament to his journey and the power of street art to transform urban landscapes.
