Annelise and Benny Johansen, a couple with a passion for animals, purchased a simple plot of land. What began with a single field and a short fence transformed over time into a beloved local attraction. Munkholm Zoo Djursland is now home to an impressive collection of over 400 animals, representing a diverse range of 90 species. As you wander through the zoo, you can meet familiar faces from Danish farms like calves, pigs, sheep, and goats. But the adventure doesn’t stop there.
