In 1991, Munich Business School, established as part of the European Business Schools International, laid down roots in Munich. Its founder’s desire was clear: to set unprecedented standards for practical business education in the heart of southern Germany. This innovative institution was originally known as Europäische Betriebswirtschafts-Akademie, or eba for short. Over a decade later, in 1999, it set a historical precedent in Bavaria by claiming the title of the first private university to receive state accreditation for its International Business curriculum. This marked a transformation. The university shed its original name in 2003, and as Munich Business School it offered a Bachelor of International Business program. The academic journey continued with a Master of International Business program launched in 2004. It was followed by the first MBA program, a 24-month part-time program focusing on general management. In the years that followed, the university expanded its offerings to incorporate contemporary study focuses. It also created the option to study in English, introduced Executive Education seminars, and courses for professional development at an academic level. With its dedication to excellence and its pursuit of continuous growth, Munich Business School established itself as a leading force in business education. It consistently embraced innovation and adaptation, ensuring its programs remained relevant in the ever-evolving business landscape.
