Its head consists of two docks. These docks are 82.65 meters and 177.90 meters. They form an angle. The entrance is 210 meters wide. It lacks beacons. Access comes via a channel from the Coastal Channel. River barges operate on the riverside dock. They unload goods from ports along the Paraná and Uruguay rivers. Workshops warehouses and offices line this dock. A stone-paved area is on the city side with eleven docking posts. Sand barges discharge here.
