The church continued to expand. An addition was added in 1970. It included space for recreation a kitchen and dining area offices and a baptismal pool. Reverend Miles passed away in 1985. Reverend Emanuel Johnson became pastor. Under his leadership Mount Olive flourished once more. Soon the church needed an even larger sanctuary. This led to another significant change. In 2005 the congregation moved to its present worship space.
Reverend Johnson retired in 2010 due to health issues. Reverend Sherman Dunmore then served as pastor until 2014. Reverend Donald Golden was installed as Senior Pastor in 2015.
