The community’s faith blossomed, and the church found its first home in a relocated, storm-battered farm shed in 1952. Imagine that, a church born from a salvaged structure! The Mooroolbark Baptist Church even survived road widening projects and relocation to its current location in 1960. The church we see today is a testament to its unwavering spirit, having celebrated its 50th anniversary with the opening of extensions and refurbishment in 2002.
