This tragic event inspired the creation of this monumental tribute. The shepherd, immortalized in a seven-meter-tall sculpture, weighs a staggering 27 tons. He stands proudly, his loyal mastiff by his side. The dog, a giant of its breed, is a testament to the unwavering companionship these animals offer. Near the figures, three straw huts, replicas of traditional shepherd shelters of the region, complete the scene.
