In 1868, a vision took root in Taastrup. Møllehomskolen first opened its doors, thanks to the generosity of Peter Mølleholm. He dreamed of a place where local children could receive a quality education, paving the way for a brighter future. Møllehomskolen started with just 30 pupils. The school’s impact quickly rippled through the community. It became a cornerstone of Taastrup, nurturing generations of students. Møllehomskolen has witnessed remarkable transformations over the years. The 2011 renovation and expansion project breathed new life into the school. The project focused on “managing money to gain more space for learning.” New spaces emerged, designed with students in mind and daylighting became a key element. The school embraced sustainable solutions and recycling, demonstrating a commitment to both education and the environment. Møllehomskolen stands as a testament to its rich history. It continues to evolve, providing a vibrant learning environment for its students. Located in the southeastern part of Taastrup, Møllehomskolen is conveniently situated near Røjlegrøften and Taastrup Idrætscenter.
