When did the Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida begin its journey? It started in 1982 in Rosario. The Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida now has over 100 congregations across Argentina. It also has churches in Paraguay, Bolivia, the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, France and Portugal. The Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida continues to expand worldwide.
Let’s delve into its history. The Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida gained autonomy in 1984. It was then the Rosario annex of the Asamblea de Dios de Flores church in Buenos Aires. After two years it became Iglesia Filial No. 29. This was part of the Asociacion Evangelica Asamblea de Dios de Argentina.
Apostle Anibal Ghione and his family arrived in Rosario in December 1982. The church was then located on Avenida San Martin. Financial reasons forced a move to a warehouse on Calle Esteban de Luca.
The work grew steadily. Eventually the Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida bought an old house. It was demolished to build the temple on Cortada Raffo. This temple opened on August 17 1987. It could hold 250 people. Two months later the temple was too small. The Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida then rented a former cinema. It was on Avenida Uriburu. This is now their central auditorium.
Continued growth led to decentralization. New annexes opened in different areas. These areas were in the city and greater Rosario. The central church became a training ground. Leaders, workers, and pastors went out to start new churches. They extended the ministry’s reach.
After 22 years as pastor Apostle Anibal Ghione passed the role to his son. Pastor Alberto Ghione now leads the central church. He guides it towards new challenges. The Ministerio Jesucristo Pan de Vida stands as a testament to faith and expansion. It began humbly and grew into a global presence. It all started from Rosario.
