Founded in 1992 as the Islamic College of Noble Park Minaret College Springvale Campus boasts a rich history. It started small with just 22 students and one teacher. Today it’s the largest co-educational Islamic school in southeastern Melbourne. This incredible growth reflects the community’s deep need for Islamic education.
Minaret College Springvale Campus isn’t just about numbers. It’s about nurturing future leaders. Its motto Faith Knowledge and Practice guides every student. The school’s founder the late Mr Mohamed Hassan OAM played a pivotal role. He dedicated 25 years to building the college. His vision was to provide a holistic education. Mr Hassan’s legacy is palpable here. He was a pioneer in Islamic education in Australia. He arrived in Australia in 1967. He even wrote an article titled ‘Unmet needs of Muslim migrants’. This highlighted the importance of Islamic schooling. He believed in providing a quality Islamic and secular education. He poured his heart and soul into Minaret College Springvale Campus. He even opened the campus masjid a long-held dream in 2017. This was fifty years after his arrival in Australia.

The school currently serves over 2500 students. It also has campuses in Officer and Doveton. Each campus plays a vital role in serving the community.
