Listen closely. MCGI is more than just a religious organization. It is a global community.

The Members Church of God International has humble beginnings. It started as a small group in the Philippines in 1977. It had less than a hundred believers. MCGI is known in the Philippines as Ang Dating Daan. This means The Old Path in English. It is the name of their flagship radio and television program.

MCGI utilizes broadcast media to preach the gospel. They expand internationally by producing religious programs. These programs are in different languages. They acquire time slots on various television stations in different countries. MCGI also has its own radio and television network. This allows for 24/7 terrestrial satellite and internet broadcasts.

Eliseo Soriano started preaching in the 1970s. He realized he couldn’t reach everyone in the Philippines. In 1980 he decided to go on the radio. A few years later he went on television. In 1999 the church embraced the internet. Satellite broadcasting began in 2004. This helped reach more people around the world.

Ang Dating Daan first aired on radio in October 1980. It was on DWWA 1206 kHz. The budget was small. In February 1983 the program debuted on television. It was on IBC Channel 13. Later it moved to RJTV Channel 29, PTV-4 and SBN 21. In 1999 MCGI launched a nationwide radio broadcast. It was through DZRH RMN and 100 Radyo Natin stations.

UNTV Public Service channel is important to MCGI. Radyo La Verdad 1350 kHz is also key. Wish FM 107.5 and The Truth Channel play a role. TV Verdade and TV La Verdad are official religious media services.

Between 2010 and 2011 MCGI programs reached India. They also aired in Uruguay Argentina Bolivia and Portugal. The church acquired a slot on Fox Channel. This reached over 50 cable networks in Central and South America. In 2012 MCGI launched its own channel. It is called TV La Verdad. This channel serves Spanish-speaking countries. Also in 2012 UNTV Radio La Verdad 1350 kHz was launched.

Ang Dating Daan airs internationally. Programs usually last one or two hours. This is done through agreements with local television networks.

In 2004 UNTV-37 became the permanent home of MCGI. In 2007 the station became a Public Service Channel. MCGI programs are carried by several satellites. These cover Asia Australia the Middle East Europe and Africa.

MCGI offers various ways to connect. You can call or text their hotlines. You can chat with their support staff on Skype or Facebook Messenger. You can send them an email. The address is ADD Convention Center in Pampanga Philippines.

Learning the doctrines is the first step to membership. A person goes through indoctrination. This teaches the basic beliefs of the Christian faith. The doctrines are based on the Bible.

Becoming a member is a personal choice. MCGI welcomes everyone to attend services. These services include gatherings and events.
