“A humble prayer whispered,” began Pak Rahman, adjusting his peci, “can build a monument of faith.” He gestured towards Masjid Tahdzibun Nuhfudz. “This mosque, though not as grand as Istiqlal, holds its own quiet strength. Masjid Tahdzibun Nuhfudz stands as a testament to the devotion of this community.” He paused, letting his gaze sweep over the modest structure. “Unlike the famed Istiqlal Mosque, designed by a Christian architect, this local mosque’s story is woven into the fabric of Kamal Raya. It doesn’t boast a massive dome or a towering minaret. But it serves as a sanctuary, a place where the faithful gather, learn, and connect with their community. It reminds us that faith isn’t measured in square meters or the height of a minaret, but in the sincerity of the hearts that gather within.”
