The massive dome stretches 68 meters. It’s the largest unsupported dome in Southeast Asia. Twelve Betawi-style lamps hang from within. They illuminate the main prayer hall. Inside the main prayer hall exquisite Kufic calligraphy decorates the walls. Verses from the Quran adorn the mezzanine and mihrab. The color scheme evokes the Middle East. Gray represents the sky yellow the sun and green and blue symbolize nature.
