Masjid Jami’ Nurus Sa’adah stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of Islam in this vibrant community. Its modern design, a striking three-story structure, sets it apart from the surrounding landscape. The main prayer hall, located on the third floor, exudes a sense of grandeur and tranquility. The high ceilings, intricate decorations, and a magnificent chandelier illuminate the space, creating an atmosphere of reverence. A plush, green carpet covers the floor, inviting worshippers to immerse themselves in prayer.
Masjid Jami’ Nurus Sa’adah isn’t merely a place for daily prayers. It serves as a hub for various religious activities. The mosque’s unique design presents an interesting architectural quirk. Situated on the east side of the road, its qibla, the direction of prayer towards Mecca, faces the road. This unique orientation extends to the mimbar (pulpit) and mihrab (niche indicating the qibla), adding to the mosque’s distinctive character. The location of Masjid Jami’ Nurus Sa’adah, next to the Kartni restaurant and opposite the Tegal Gede gas station, makes it easily accessible. While the mosque’s proximity to the main road might suggest limited parking, a dedicated parking area is available beside the building. Access to the parking area requires a slight descent, as the mosque’s grounds sit lower than the road level. This creates a sense of peaceful seclusion amidst the bustling city.
