Founded in 1984 Masjid Jami’ Nurul Amal began as a small musholla. It served the local community in the Migas 41 complex Srengseng Kembangan Jakarta Barat. Over time its humble beginnings grew. By 1994 it had transformed into the masjid we see today. Masjid Jami’ Nurul Amal’s story is one of expansion and community. The initial structure was modest. It measured less than 200 square meters. This small space struggled to accommodate the growing number of worshippers. Especially during Friday prayers and religious holidays. The mosque now serves a much wider area. It caters to residents not just from the complex but also from surrounding neighborhoods like Joglo. Even office workers find solace within its walls. The need for expansion is clear. Masjid Jami’ Nurul Amal has stood for over three decades. Its aging structure reflects its history. Yet its spirit of devotion remains strong.
