Ascend the nineteen steps to the second floor, and you’ll be greeted by a serene prayer space. Lush greenery lines the stairway, creating a calming atmosphere. The prayer hall spans two floors, the second and a mezzanine third level, each covering 200 square meters. Combined with a 150 square meter hall used for Friday prayers, and terraces on each floor, Masjid Daarut Tauhid can accommodate approximately 1,200 worshippers. The mihrab, the focal point of prayer, is a unique triangular niche. Ornaments resembling roosters, stars, and twelve-pointed flowers embellish the narrowing walls. A radiant triangle, the Daarut Tauhiid logo, graces the mihrab’s backdrop, symbolizing Allah. A wooden podium bearing the name “Daarut Tauhiid” in Arabic script completes the scene. The void above, a large isosceles triangle, draws the eye upwards. The simple yet elegant interior, devoid of calligraphy, focuses attention on the act of prayer itself.
