Wali Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan, Tri Kurniadi, laid the first stone for Masjid Ar-Ridho in June 2018. The location, within the grounds of the Pasar Minggu subdistrict office, underscored its importance to the community. This new mosque was not just about bricks and mortar. It was about building a stronger community. It aimed to enrich the spiritual lives of its members. The construction was a community effort, funded not by government coffers, but by the generosity of the people. The target was an ambitious two-year timeline and a budget of around Rp 6 billion.
