Is it possible for a building to symbolize a garden in paradise? Here at Masjid Ar Radhah, that is precisely the intention. This mosque stands proudly on Jalan TB Simatupang. It offers a serene space for prayer and community in South Jakarta.

Before Masjid Ar Radhah existed, there was only one mosque in the Ministry of Agriculture area. It was only open to the public for Friday prayers. This new mosque fulfills a crucial need for accessible worship space. It serves residents near the Ragunan plant seed marketing center.

The land for Masjid Ar Radhah belongs to the DKI Jakarta Province Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Agriculture Department. The project included reorganizing plant seed kiosks and improving the surrounding environment. The total area covers 6,500 square meters. The mosque itself occupies 500 square meters. It can accommodate around 400 worshipers. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles. There is also a canteen and plant seed kiosks.

The construction of Masjid Ar Radhah was largely funded by donations. Baznas DKI Jakarta contributed Rp 6 billion. These funds came from zakat, infaq and alms.

He encourages continued synergy in building places of worship. He acknowledged the challenges involved. He expressed hope that their efforts would be rewarded and improve the quality of life for all Jakarta residents.

Masjid Ar Radhah is not just a place of worship. It is also envisioned as a center for religious education, economic development, and social activities. The mosque will soon feature food and beverage options. There will also be UMKM kiosks selling plants cultivated by the DKPKP Province of DKI Jakarta.

The governor has entrusted the care of Masjid Ar Radhah to the Mayor of South Jakarta. He also appealed to residents and traders to help maintain this sacred space.
