Few know that a simple shop became a sanctuary. Here at Masjid An-Nahl, we stand before a testament to community spirit.
Masjid An-Nahl began modestly. About seven years ago, residents of The Icon residential complex felt the need for a local mosque. Some residents took the initiative to build a mosque near their homes.
The location is in The Icon BSD City. It is at Ruko Horizon Broadway M5 No 3, Jl Horizon Broadway, Cisauk, Tangerang. Masjid An-Nahl now stands on the site of what was once a shop. The shop had an area of 250 meters.
Initially, the shop was donated by a resident of The Icon. It served as a prayer room. After two years, it transformed into a mosque.
As the congregation grew, the management expanded the mosque. They bought the shop next door. This was to accommodate the increasing number of worshippers.
With two shops combined, the number of worshippers continued to rise. The management considered further expansion. They decided to purchase another adjacent shop.
Andi Subandi is the Imam Coordinator. He said that they bought another shop because they felt that there were more worshipers. It turned out that the number of worshipers increased again after the purchase.
Masjid An-Nahl is known for its facilities. These facilities are not commonly found in other mosques. During Ramadan, Masjid An-Nahl has a variety of programs.
