Masjid Al Madani first took shape in late 2011. It was a testament to the generosity of the residents of Dianthus and Durio 2. Others also contributed with spirited hearts and open hands. These people donated their wealth as a form of recurring charity.
Construction unfolded in stages. Finally, it reached completion in early 2014. However, even before its official completion, the community gathered here. They performed the five daily prayers together. Their enthusiasm for worship was evident. They maximized the mosque’s use even in its unfinished state.
Eventually, Masjid Al Madani was fully ready. By 2015, it was able to host Friday prayers. This marked a significant milestone for the community. They now had a central place for their religious activities.
By early 2018, the need for expansion became apparent. The community decided to renovate. Their goal was to increase the building’s capacity by adding another level. The renovation commenced two months before Ramadan. The first phase concluded within twenty days of Ramadan. So the community could use it for Itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan.
Subsequently, Masjid Al Madani underwent a second renovation phase. Thanks to generous donors, it concluded successfully. Their contributions were invaluable to the mosque’s growth.
Masjid Al Madani stands as a symbol. It is a symbol of unity, faith and community spirit. It began as a simple structure. Now it is a vibrant center for worship and togetherness.
