The establishment of Masjid Al Falaah was based on city planning regulations. Dinas Tata Kota issued number 2635/I-GSB/II/95 in 1995. Izin Mendirikan Bangunan from Dinas Pengawasan Pembangunan Kota issued number 00559/IMB/1997 in 1997. The land area of the Masjid Al Falaah Bambu Apus is 5505 square meters.
The DKI Jakarta government built the Masjid Al Falaah Bambu Apus. Its purpose was to improve overall human development. It also sought to increase religious awareness in society. This applied to both the quality and quantity of religious understanding.
