The construction of Mary Seat of Wisdom Church between 1951 and 1953 represents a significant chapter in the community’s growth. It wasn’t easy. A massive fundraising drive was launched. Parishioners from St Paul of the Cross generously contributed. Many donated in memory of loved ones. They poured their hearts and their savings into this beautiful building.
The finest materials were used. Magnificent Italian marble adorns the main altar. White marble statues of Our Lady and St Joseph stand proudly at the side altars.
