The first church in Polonezköy, once known as Adampol, was the Temple of Holy Anna. Built in the 1840s by Saint François Bosnian Priests, it predates the Mary of Czestochowa. A wooden church followed in 1870 but sadly collapsed in the earthquake of 1894. Finally, in 1914, the Mary of Czestochowa Church arose. Located at the village entrance, it boasts a beautiful garden.
