The Maple Grove Veterans Memorial was dedicated on July 14. It serves as a permanent tribute to those who served our country. The memorial details conflicts in United States history dating back to the Civil War. It also provides a space to honor fallen soldiers.
Look around at the panels. They honor all wars from the Civil War to Afghanistan and Iraq. The Maple Grove Veterans Memorial also features a fallen heroes panel.
Maple Grove Beyond the Yellow Ribbon spearheaded this project. This organization raised about $260000 through donations and engraved brick sales. These funds made the Maple Grove Veterans Memorial possible.
Notice the walkway beneath our feet. It is made of pavers. Anyone could buy a paver to remember a veteran. You can still celebrate a loved one’s service by purchasing a paver. Pavers come in small medium and large sizes. The prices range from $300 to $1500. Inscriptions may include a name a message of support or the purchaser’s name.
