Forty years ago, a seed of faith was planted right here, blossoming into what we now know as Maple Grove Lutheran Church ELCA. Maple Grove Lutheran Church has been serving this community and beyond since 1984. This isn’t just a building of bricks and mortar. It’s a living testament to the enduring power of faith, hope, and love. Maple Grove Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), a church where all are welcome. The church weathered the storm of the pandemic, emerging stronger with a renewed focus on community. They invite people from all walks of life to unite through Jesus’ teachings. Maple Grove Lutheran Church aims to extend its outreach both locally and globally. They strive to share God’s love with everyone. The church’s youth group, IGNITE, meets once a month and participates in service and fellowship events. They organize an annual mission trip and are involved in the Boo for Food collection for CROSS. The church also hosts a TRUNK or TREAT event for the community, and the youth group enjoys a camping trip. Maple Grove Lutheran Church emphasizes the importance of learning, growing, and serving together. They embrace the idea that there’s a place for everyone in God’s unfolding story of love.
