Why is this school called Lycee Robert Schuman? We are standing in front of Lycee Robert Schuman. It’s a Catholic private senior high school in Dugny. The school is part of the Paris metropolitan area. It was established in 1920 by Christian engineers. These engineers had a mission. They wanted to help young people facing difficulties. Their initiative led to the creation of “l’Entraide Éducative.” This organization later expanded to offer various professional training programs. Eventually, it evolved into the Lycee Robert Schuman. The school is under contract with the state. This means it receives some government funding but operates independently. Today, Lycee Robert Schuman provides a variety of educational programs. These include vocational training and a traditional high school curriculum. The school focuses on both professional and personal development. It emphasizes values such as punctuality, diligence, respect and a strong work ethic.
