Little Bryan Missionary Baptist Church celebrated Pastor Marvin L. and Sis. Jerry Artest Lloyd in 2017. It marked their 20th year of service. The anniversary included worship services and a banquet. The public was invited to join.
The theme “20 years of Moving Forward” was inspired by Jeremiah 29:11. It speaks of God’s plans for hope and a future. Morning Worship featured Rev. Cornelius J. E. Lloyd. He is the honorees’ son. Anniversary Worship included First Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor André Osborne led that service.
A Black and White Evening Banquet occurred at Carey Hilliard’s Restaurant. Guests dressed in formal attire. Tickets were $30 for adults. Children’s tickets cost $12.
Little Bryan Baptist Church also celebrated its 102nd Church Anniversary in 2024. The location was 4110 Heard St. in Liberty City. First Smyrna Baptist Church joined in worship. Pastor Roemain Bennett, Sr. delivered the Word of God.
