Whispers of faith echo within these walls. This is the Life Church, also known as Mundo De Fe, a beacon of hope in North Dallas. Life Church aims to bring life to the community through the teachings of Jesus Christ. Their mission is simple: Love God, love people, and make a difference. The church’s vision revolves around these three core principles. Loving God is paramount. Matthew 22:37-38 emphasizes loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind. Life Church encourages this through corporate worship, sermons, and prayer. Loving people is the second pillar, echoing Matthew 22:39-40, which states, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Life Church believes these two commandments are intertwined. The final piece of their vision is to make a difference. Inspired by Matthew 25:40, the church encourages its members to serve others, primarily through their volunteer team, the Dream Team. Life Church began its journey in 1973 in a humble preschool library on Midway Road. The church’s growth necessitated moves to a garage, a house, and finally, the current facility, completed in 2010. Before the current pastors, Shay and Bridgette Mann, took the helm in 2013, Bishop V. Arlen Guidroz and his wife Robbie led the church for 35 years, leaving a legacy of steadfast leadership and love. Life Church values reading the Bible, being Spirit-filled, prioritizing prayer and others, nurturing the next generation, fostering dynamic worship, delivering life-changing preaching, and creating disciples. They believe in the power of community, emphasizing that “life is better together,” and embrace a philosophy of grace and truth, welcoming all people. Every Sunday at 10:30 AM, the church opens its doors for worship. Mid-week services are held on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. They also hold Monday prayer at 6:30 PM. Come, experience the vibrant spirit of Life Church.
