Liceo 70 features many classrooms. Eight of them are for general use. It also includes specialized labs for physics chemistry and biology. A salón de usos múltiples provides space for various activities. There is also a dedicated art room plus two workshops.

When Liceo 70 opened it had about 450 students. These students were in the Ciclo Básico which is equivalent to grades 7 through 9. The school is located near the Polo Tecnológico Industrial del Cerro PTI CNT.
Wilson Netto the president of ANEP emphasized the importance of this project. He noted that the government was completing about one building per week. He acknowledged that Liceo 70 was overdue. The previous conditions for students and staff were not adequate for public education.
