Established in 2001 the Lebanese International University started as Bekaa University. It quickly expanded. The university now boasts multiple campuses across Lebanon. Its Beirut campus is a significant hub. It’s not far from the Beirut Central District.

The Beirut campus is impressive. It features seven buildings. These are named Blocks A to G. Each building has its own unique role. Block B houses important student services. The registration office is there. So are the business and student affairs offices. The university cafeteria is also on the first floor. Block C is the largest. It has the Mass Communication offices and studios on the top floor.

The university has undergone substantial growth. Three new blocks were added starting in 2011. These are Blocks D E and G. They were needed to accommodate the increasing student population. Additional dormitories were also constructed. These are for students transferring from other campuses.
