Terminal 3 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport is a bustling hub of activity. It’s home to several airlines, including American Airlines and Spirit Airlines. It’s a crucial part of the airport’s operations, connecting passengers to various destinations. American Airlines uses this concourse as a hub, along with Concourses H, K, and L in Terminal 3. Terminal 3 itself is a significant part of O’Hare’s history. It first opened its doors on January 17, 1962. Over time, it underwent expansions and renovations. In 1984, Concourse L was added to accommodate Delta Air Lines. American Airlines completed a major renovation in 1990. And just a few years ago, in 2018, they expanded further with the “L-Stinger”, a new building with five additional gates.
