The story of La Salle – Passy Buzenval took a turn when the Duchesse de Cadore bequeathed her Buzenval estate to the Saint-Nicolas school. This act of generosity paved the way for the Brothers of the Christian Schools to establish a presence on the site. In 1901, the Saint-Nicolas school opened its doors, marking a significant chapter in the history of La Salle – Passy Buzenval. The 1904 law separating church and state forced the Brothers into exile in Belgium. There, they established the Passy-Froyennes Institute, carrying the torch of their educational mission.
A pivotal moment arrived in 1960 when Saint-Nicolas de Buzenval merged with Passy-Froyennes. This fusion marked the birth of La Salle – Passy Buzenval as we know it today.
