Architect Tury Attila designed it. He completed the building in 1996. It initially functioned as a community center called a “Faluház”. The building bears the unmistakable “Makovecz” style. The building’s walls incorporate stones donated by Budakalász residents and old brick bearing coats of arms. The structure embodies the passage of time. It represents a continuity of values and aesthetics in its architectural expression.
