Twenty-two people. That’s how it all began for Kirkliston Community Church. In August 2007 a small group from Bellevue Chapel Evangelical Church planted a seed of faith. That seed blossomed. Today we stand before Kirkliston Community Church a vibrant testament to growth.

Kirkliston Community Church wasn’t built overnight. It started humbly. It grew from a handful of people meeting in a home. Now over 200 people gather here on Sundays. Their stories their faith have woven the very fabric of this place.

The church quickly outgrew its informal beginnings. By 2017 its tenth birthday the congregation had expanded significantly. Two Sunday services became necessary to accommodate everyone. God’s blessing was evident in this rapid growth. The church’s leaders sought to reach out to the wider Kirkliston community sharing God’s love. Their vision to be a community that grows in faith and shares its faith with others is clear.

The church isn’t isolated. It enjoys a strong relationship with Kirkliston Parish Church of Scotland. They collaborate on community events like primary school assemblies and holiday services. This cooperation strengthens the bonds within Kirkliston. It shows a unity of purpose among diverse Christian groups.

A refurbishment project transformed the building on Main Street. The building is visibly updated. The changes reflect the church’s growth and its commitment to serving its community. It’s a visual reminder of progress and renewal.
