They held a Christmas market at the Ru00f6dertalschu00e4nke, selling gifts made by members. They also contributed significant labor, completing much of the construction themselves. This shared effort strengthened the community bonds.
Architect Christian Schaufel, also a member of the congregation, designed the Kirche Liegau-Augustusbad. The project’s financial foundation came from the sale of the old community building next door. The church land was divided for the sale. The family who purchased the old building are also active members of the Kirche Liegau-Augustusbad community and are gradually renovating it. A local saying highlights the importance of churches, pubs, and schools in a thriving community. The church is considered the spiritual support, the pub fosters communication, and the school engages the youth.
