This is a captivating story about Kirche der Landesschule in Munich. The church is part of a large school for people with physical disabilities built in 1914. The church is a real gem amongst all the school buildings. A Steinmeyer organ with 13 stops on 2 keyboards and pedal was installed at the time the church was built. One of the stops was a 16′ bass stop, and a 16′ sub-bass stop added to the bass stop extended down to the lower C.
The church is in a beautiful area, and the sounds of the organ travel through the courtyard and out across the open green spaces. You can imagine students and sometimes their families attending services and maybe even using the church for a recital or being part of a choir.
