Isn’t it remarkable how a church can grow from just a few to thousands? Kingsway International Christian Centre also known as KICC started with humble roots. KICC was founded in 1992. It began with 200 adults and 100 children. Now KICC sees up to 12000 people attending services every Sunday.
KICC is based here in London England. It has become one of the largest growing churches in Western Europe. The church is pastored by Matthew Ashimolowo. He is known worldwide.
Initially KICC was located in Hackney London. This location was near the 2012 Olympics Village. The church had to move in late 2007. This was due to developments for the Olympics. KICC then relocated to Hoe Street in Walthamstow.
Later KICC purchased a larger site. It is now known as Prayer City. Prayer City is located in Chatham Kent. KICC still uses the Walthamstow site too. KICC announced plans for Prayer City starting in 2013.
