Even in Nordstadtpark and on the Uni-Campus, colourful works of art shine. The culinary scene in Kassel-Nord is diverse. The cultural menu is just as varied. The Schlachthof Cultural Centre hosts concerts and readings. You can enjoy movie evenings and other events. In summer, many events take place in the BOREAL beer garden. About 25,000 students enliven North Holland. They come from the campus on the Holländischer Platz. The Losse, a tributary of the Fulda, flows through Nord Holland. It is 21.1 km long.

The Nordstadtpark and the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof are directly across the way. It’s nice to sit and talk late into the night here. Café Nordpol is located just around the corner from the university. It has great breakfast. The baguettes are worth a try. Concerts and other cultural events take place at the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof. Many international and still-undiscovered artists perform here. If you like to watch soccer, check out the Bei Ali bar and döner shop. The owner is a St. Pauli fan. The Nordstadt locals come here to watch league games as well as to eat and drink. Punk Rock can be heard later at night at Mutter. This cult bar/club opens pretty late. It stands apart with its inexpensive drink prices and unusual decoration inside.
