Welcome to Jurassic Mile Start/End. Prepare to be transported back in time to the age of dinosaurs. This 1-kilometer stretch is Singapore’s largest permanent outdoor display of life-sized dinosaurs. More than 20 different prehistoric creatures from nine different species await you.
Jurassic Mile is located outside Terminal 4 of Singapore’s Changi Airport. It is part of the Changi Airport Connector. The connector is a 3.5km cycling and jogging path. It links Changi Airport to East Coast Park and the Park Connector Network.
Imagine walking or cycling along this path. You will encounter many different species. Information panels are placed throughout the trail. Learn all about these magnificent creatures. Expect to see carnivorous and herbivorous species. Watch out for defensive dinosaurs and those that fly. The tallest dinosaur stands at almost 5 meters high.
Keep an eye out for the towering Tyrannosaurus Rex. Don’t miss the gigantic dinosaur eggs. The Brontosaurus is another must-see. The longest dinosaur is about 17 meters in length. Photo opportunities abound along the way.
The trail was created with a unique idea. Visitors walk in a Dinosaur Park. Warning signs are all around. Some dinosaurs appear to escape their cages. Others seem to attack golf carts.
A pterodactyl sitting on a rock marks the northern entrance. Two ankylosaurus in heavy armored plates and club-like tails stand guard. Three blue velociraptors surround a club car. A baby T-rex that just broke out of an egg is a popular photo spot.
Jurassic Mile is open 24 hours. It is free to enter. Just keep in mind that it can be extremely hot during the day. The Changi Airport Connector begins and ends at HUB & SPOKE near Terminal 2. You can rent bicycles there. Shower facilities are available. You can even have a meal at the HUB & SPOKE Cafe.
Remember to look for the on-ground signs. These will guide you from Terminal 2 or Terminal 4. You can also reach Jurassic Mile from East Coast Park. Follow the Changi Coastal Park Connector Extension.
