Founded on faith Joy Fellowship Baptist Church’s journey began on October 3 2004. Pastor Dr Isaac L Floyd led his flock to the Southeast Training Center their first worship space. This humble beginning marked the start of a remarkable story. Imagine the energy the dedication the shared belief in a new church home.
The congregation rapidly grew. They moved several times seeking larger spaces to accommodate their expanding community. Each location presented its own set of challenges but the congregation persevered. Their faith was their guiding light. Their shared purpose their unwavering strength. They faced numerous setbacks code violations even court appearances. But they held firm to their belief. They trusted in God’s plan for their church.
Through it all they never lost sight of their vision. They dreamed of a permanent home. They worked tirelessly saving purchasing pews one for themselves and one for a new member. This act perfectly symbolizes their spirit of fellowship and community. It demonstrates their commitment to sharing their faith.
Their persistence paid off. On October 12 2007 Joy Fellowship Baptist Church finally found its permanent home. A 46000 square foot building on seven acres of land. The building became their sanctuary their place of worship. The building became the physical manifestation of years of prayers faith and tireless effort.
