The club persevered, growing from 5 nights a week to a full 7, hosting concerts every single night. Today, the Unterfahrt resides within the Einstein-Kultur complex, a sprawling 2,000 square meter cultural center. Interestingly, the Unterfahrt played a crucial role in the revival of this center. After years of failed attempts, the Unterfahrt’s success inspired the city to entrust its management to the very people who kept the jazz flame alive. The intimate 180-person capacity ensures a close connection between the musicians and the audience.
