Founded in 1955 as Kadikoy Maarif its story begins long before its official opening. The original building predates World War I a testament to the Franciscan Capuchin Order who resided there for years. Years of negotiations between the Ministry of Education and the Capuchins paved the way for the school’s establishment.

Its impressive growth reflected its academic prestige. It was a testament to the community’s commitment to education.

A change in the national education system brought a name change. Kadikoy Maarif College became Istanbul Kadikoy Anatolian High School. The curriculum evolved too.
