In 1979, a seed of internationalism was planted in the heart of London. This seed blossomed into the International Community School, or ICS as it’s affectionately known. ICS London isn’t just a school. It’s a vibrant microcosm of the world, nestled in the elegant districts of Marylebone and Paddington. The school started with a simple yet powerful mission: to teach English within a full curriculum to the children of international families. Today, ICS London offers the full International Baccalaureate program to students aged 3 to 18. This makes it one of only two schools in London to offer this comprehensive program. ICS London prides itself on its diverse student body. Over 50 nationalities are represented, creating a truly international community. The school is split between two campuses. The primary school is located on Wyndham Place in Marylebone, surrounded by stylish neighborhoods and the international quarters of London. The secondary school is situated on Star Street in Paddington, near the bustling energy of Oxford Street and the transport hub of Paddington Station. ICS London is more than just academics. The school’s history is intertwined with the International Baccalaureate. In 2008, ICS London became an IB World School, accredited to teach the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. A few years later, in 2010, it became one of only five schools in the UK to offer all three levels of the IB.
