In 1999, a bridge was built, not of steel and concrete, but of ambition and knowledge. This bridge is INSEAD Asia. INSEAD became the first business school with two fully operational campuses, one in Europe and one here in Asia. INSEAD Asia stands as a testament to the power of global education. The founder of modern Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, himself graced the inauguration of this campus in 2000. His presence underscores the significance of INSEAD Asia in Singapore’s vision as a global knowledge hub. INSEAD Asia isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant ecosystem of learning and innovation. The campus, located at 1 Ayer Rajah Avenue, is just a short 15-minute trip from the financial district and 30 minutes from Changi Airport. This makes it easily accessible for students and faculty coming from around the globe. The campus has seen remarkable growth. In 2005, a second phase of development expanded its footprint. A decade later, INSEAD celebrated the campus’s 10th anniversary. In 2015, a S$55 million investment brought forth the Leadership Development Centre. This six-story, 10,000-square-meter building further solidified INSEAD’s commitment to leadership development in Asia. The center increased the faculty to 70 members and boosted the student and executive population on campus. Beyond academics, INSEAD Asia provides a holistic experience. The INSEAD Residences offer 126 rooms for short stays. The campus also boasts a fitness center, a bookshop, and a research and learning hub. While the campus embraces progress, it also respects the well-being of its community. Therapeutic animals are not allowed on campus to ensure the health and safety of everyone. INSEAD Asia is more than just a business school. It’s a global crossroads, connecting East and West, ideas and innovation, and future leaders with the world.
